May Pink Parcel

This is my second pink parcel box, and I thought I’d share it with you, in case it was something you were considering getting for yourself. I explained a lot about the box last month, so if you are unsure what this is, or want to know more, have a read about it here. I liked last month’s box, however I probably wouldn’t have got this months if they hadn’t send me a voucher code that made the box £1! I thought it was definitely worth it for £1, so I had to get it!

I wasn’t overly impressed with this month’s box… last month was definitely better. I hope you find this review useful, and I’d love to hear your thoughts about the box if you’ve tried it.

As usual, I received a mini chocolate bar (this is dark chocolate, which I’m not hugely fond of, so I might give it to my Grandad if I remember- he loves dark chocolate!!), and a tea. (I honestly thought this was coffee at first because it said Latte…)

I received one make-up product this month, and it was this lipliner from Laritzy. I’m not overly fond of the colour, as I definitely prefer a nude lip, but I’ll definitely give it a try. These cost $18 (not sure about the £ conversion), so really not cheap. I probably wouldn’t pay this much even if I liked the colour, because I have RIMMEL ones that are amazing, and only £3.99.

I received some skincare products too, each of which I have different opinions about.

  • The anatomicals body cleanser was nice enough. It wasn’t particularly strongly scented, and I prefer shower gels that are, but it was ok. I managed to get two uses out of this sample, but I was really un-impressed by the sample size. Given that last month’s box had a proper mini bottle of shower gel, I was disappointed by this.
  • The NAOBAY hand cream smells nice, and does the job, but it is just a hand cream. Nothing special.
  • The Vegan exfoliating bar looks really interesting, and I’m excited to try this, because it looks much more convenient than a body scrub in a packet. However, it doesn’t feel very exfoliating in it’s packet… We’ll see.
  • The Opiat exfoliating face mask is interesting. It comes as a powder, which you mix with water to make the mask. It’s a cool idea, and I’m excited to try it.

All in all, I wasn’t hugely impressed with this month’s box, because I feel like the products weren’t anything special. However, for £1, I can’t complain, because I will use most things in there, as well as all the sanitary products.

Thanks for reading, and I’d love to know your thoughts on this box.

Until next time,

Clare .x.
