This is my second pink parcel box, and I thought I’d share it with you, in case it was something you were considering getting for yourself. I explained a lot about the box last month, so if you are unsure what this is, or want to know more, have a read about it here. I liked last month’s box, however I probably wouldn’t have got this months if they hadn’t send me a voucher code that made the box £1! I thought it was definitely worth it for £1, so I had to get it!
I wasn’t overly impressed with this month’s box… last month was definitely better. I hope you find this review useful, and I’d love to hear your thoughts about the box if you’ve tried it.
As usual, I received a mini chocolate bar (this is dark chocolate, which I’m not hugely fond of, so I might give it to my Grandad if I remember- he loves dark chocolate!!), and a tea. (I honestly thought this was coffee at first because it said Latte…)
I received one make-up product this month, and it was this lipliner from Laritzy. I’m not overly fond of the colour, as I definitely prefer a nude lip, but I’ll definitely give it a try. These cost $18 (not sure about the £ conversion), so really not cheap. I probably wouldn’t pay this much even if I liked the colour, because I have RIMMEL ones that are amazing, and only £3.99.
I received some skincare products too, each of which I have different opinions about.
- The anatomicals body cleanser was nice enough. It wasn’t particularly strongly scented, and I prefer shower gels that are, but it was ok. I managed to get two uses out of this sample, but I was really un-impressed by the sample size. Given that last month’s box had a proper mini bottle of shower gel, I was disappointed by this.
- The NAOBAY hand cream smells nice, and does the job, but it is just a hand cream. Nothing special.
- The Vegan exfoliating bar looks really interesting, and I’m excited to try this, because it looks much more convenient than a body scrub in a packet. However, it doesn’t feel very exfoliating in it’s packet… We’ll see.
- The Opiat exfoliating face mask is interesting. It comes as a powder, which you mix with water to make the mask. It’s a cool idea, and I’m excited to try it.
All in all, I wasn’t hugely impressed with this month’s box, because I feel like the products weren’t anything special. However, for £1, I can’t complain, because I will use most things in there, as well as all the sanitary products.
Thanks for reading, and I’d love to know your thoughts on this box.
Until next time,
